DH wanted to put up Christmas last weekend & I refused because we were in the middle of painting. We are still in the middle of painting and he wants to put it up this weekend. Call me Mrs. Scrooge but I just don't want to fuss with it right now & it's to early!
We always decorated for Christmas the week after thanksgiving in our family. What about yours?

@Sugar.Biscuit: I was just about to look for a post like this!! If I could I'd decorate today but it just doesn't feel right. Heck it was 80* yesterday!! We'll waiy until after our Thanksgiving naps

Historically right after thanksgiving but last year I wanted to start earlier and DH poo pooed the idea.

We do Chanukah, and we wait until after thanksgiving because I have Thanksgiving decorations up.
But Chanukah starts so early this year, on the 8th. So I'll be taking those decorations down pretty quickly after I put them up I guess. Maybe I'll leave them up even though Chanukah is going to be over.

Would do the day after but we leave to go spend the weekend with the in-laws. So we leave early enough so we can get back and out up the tree Sunday night. Then that week I do everything else.

Normally after Thanksgiving but this year I put up early..like last nihht and today early
