I always heard they're most active at night, as evidenced by their diurnal sleeping habits as newborns. But man, this little bean is a day dancer so far! I'm only 20 weeks along but all day today he has been moving and grooving in my belly.
When do you feel the most movement from your peanut?

Almost all day long! This morning he was awake and moving around before DH's alarm went off...so starting at around 5? And he was active all the way until I got up at 6:40. Then since I got to work at 8 he's been moving around almost the whole time. I notice the most big activity mid-morning and when I'm laying down after dinner though. I very rarely notice him moving when I'm walking around

Also all day long...but until recently, he had distinct patterns, like around 10am, 2pm, and like 10:30/11pm.

@Running Elley: Same, I never feel him when I'm standing or laying down. Just when I'm sitting down at work, or when I'm laying down at home, but not when I'm laying all the way down, strangely (or on my side). Always when my back is propped up.

I would also say all day long, like Hilsy, I've started noticing a little bit of a pattern, but it's not consistent. For a few weeks he was up & dancing around 3am, but that stopped (luckily) but usually once a night he wakes me up moving, and late afternoon is usually a good time, and riding the train. haha, sorry, should have just stuck with all day long...
the new weird thing is I feel him a lot when I'm walking and it's super uncomfortable!

@hellobeeboston: Yeah I should mention he's still so tiny and his movements still so faint that I actually have no idea if he moves while I sleep because they probably wouldn't wake me up! Right now they're just little prods and tickles -- but they're definitely him, and they're definitely all day!

@ladyfingers: I never felt our guy when I was lying down earlier. Now I do though! Especially on my right side- it feels like he's taken a battering ram to the side of my torso that I'm laying on. Very odd lol.

@ladyfingers: same for me as what you said. I feel him throughout the day mostly when I'm sitting and not so much when I lay down but how you said when your like half sitting up? I thought maybe bc when u lay down there is more room for them to spread out but when u sit everything is kinda squished a bit? Feelings are getting stronger though... Not really kicks yet more like taps, nudges and rolls. I had a couple good ones today. Love it! Hooray to us being half way!

I feel general movement through out the day. But he/she is most active when I get home from work and lay down.

I'm currently 29w. I don't feel the baby move much during the day because I'm distracted and running around. The dance parties happen when I lay down in bed for the night.

I feel her here and there in the daytime...There is a body part right under the middle part of my boobs, and it feels like she drags something there...It's like if she were dragging a finger or a toe- it's almost ticklish. It makes me come out of my skin, it feels so weird!
But she REALLY gets it moving at night, especially when I am laying down. She shakes my whole stomach and makes it hard to go to sleep sometimes. And yes, she wakes me up sometimes. Or I'll get up to pee and she'll be bopping around in there and I can't go back to sleep!
Anyone else get that dragging feeling? It feels like she's dragging a toe in the sand, except it's right under my boobs in between my ribs...

right when i wake up in the morning, she'll do some puttering around in there....then after lunch a little bit, and after 9pm, she parties.
