for those that used bassinet or carseat/stroller frame combo at the beginning, when did you switch to an umbrella stroller?
i could switch LO to his umbrella stroller because he's 7 months and can sit on his own--but i'm not ready! he still seems like an itty bitty baby to me (even though he's not that bitty).

I can't recall, but it was well before 7 months. He will love being able to sit up and see everything. And, the umbrella stroller is not as hot as the infant carseat. Go for it!

We switched at 6 months. It's so much easier and lighter then the bigger stroller!

We had one, already sold it after we used it once. Felt like I was going fall over it.....I don't know if that's 'cause of our regular stroller? Going to stick with that one (bob), LO is 10m.

I did it at 7 months when we transitioned to convertible seats.

We're about to transition to the convertible car seat, so we'll make the switch then. D is 7 months. I'm anticipating switching car seats within a couple of weeks.
