I know having multiples moves up your due date and then their possible complications of being on bed rest.
When did you have your baby shower?

My good friend had hers around 27-28 weeks. She didn't deliver until around 36 so she had time. She had complications toward the end otherwise she was told to anticipate delivery around 38 weeks.

I had one at 27 weeks and one at 31 weeks. I think the one at 31 weeks put me into preterm labor! I had so many contractions that night I thought I'd have to go to the hospital! My next appt my cervix had thinned considerably and I had to go on bedrest. It was just a really long day and I wish I'd taken it a little easier. I was so paranoid when we had my sister's shower because I was convinced the same thing would happen to her, but she was fine.

27 weeks. It was two hours long and I was exhausted after! I delivered at 37.5 weeks, no bed rest, but I did not feel up to anything after about 29 weeks. Get everything done before the third trimester-best advice I got while pregnant with twins. If you are having more than twins I would move it up even earlier.

Ugh. This actually caused a bit of drama as a family member wanted to use the shower as a time to showcase her newly remodeled house. There were complications/setbacks w/the work so ultimately the shower wasn't til 34 weeks. I delivered at 36 and let's just say despite my best efforts everyone could see how horrible I felt. I also had a shower at approx 32 weeks and felt much better at that one. Earlier the better!
Eta: come to think of it, the shower was on Saturday & I was put on bed rest Monday.

I think around 25/26 weeks. And I'm glad we didn't have it later. I just didn't have the energy and it was hard for me to get around past that point.

I didn't have multiples, but I did have my shower really early because of holidays and going on bedrest. Plus, I just knew I would be too tired (and I was).
DS was due Feb 14, and my shower was early December.

Also didn't have multiples but with LO's attempts at preterm labor and then going on modified bed rest, we planned a shower around 28-29 weeks I think. Which we then scrapped because I felt so awful.

My shower was at around 30 or 31 weeks, I think? I was fine at it. I think for multiples, between 25-30 weeks is ideal!

At this moment, my shower will be when I'm 27 weeks.
