What week of pregnancy was your first prenatal appointment and/or ultrasound? With my daughters, we underwent fertility treatment with an RE. Our first appointments were around 5-6 weeks.
I just found out today that I’m pregnant (yay!!!) and this time it happened naturally. When I called to make the appointment, they gave me June 11th. I’ll be like 10 weeks.
Is that normal? I’m also 40, so probably considered a little risky.

@CatchAFallingStar: I was 8w2d by LMP, ended up being 7w5d by ultrasound dating. 10 weeks surprises me (based on my friend's and I's experiences) but not totally out of the norm based on what I've seen on here.

Sounds normal to me. With LO1 it was 10 weeks. With LO2 it was around 11, close to 12 weeks since I had been traveling and then the doctor was on vacation. With LO2, I got in the week after my 1st visit to do the NT scan.

@CatchAFallingStar: I was 9 weeks for this current pregnancy. Not much they can do either way to help a pregnancy along if you go any earlier.

Mine have been around 10 weeks, but I had earlier dating ultrasounds with my first two because of irregular periods.
Also, congrats! I was in the February 2018 due date board with you. Really happy for you!

I remember with my 1st, I wasn't totally sure how far along I am, so when I first went in I was 6+ and they couldn't really see the heartbeat yet. 2nd time I probably didn't go in till 8-10 weeks (part of that was b/c it was a surprise so I wasn't counting the days or anything).

Official one was 10 weeks at the midwife with each, but I went to see my doctor early with all 3 because of my anxiety and early bleeding with two of them. I got three early scans around 8 weeks.

I think it depends on where you live. Where I live all doctor offices don't appointments till 8 weeks. They do blood work and ultrasounds all the same day. I've heard some women day its 10 weeks were they live.

It was 8-10 weeks for both of mine. I think with my first I did the earlier side and second was ten weeks based in schedules.
