I had a check up today. I'm 32w4d and everything looked great. We adjusted my insulin a little and peaked at LO, who was just bouncing around.
When was your last doctor's appointment and how did it go?

Almost two weeks ago and it was great. We found out baby is a Girl. I don't go back till the week after Thanksgiving for my 24 week checkup and a quick ultrasound. Since baby girl wouldn't move her head to measure the back of her brain.

@Smurfette: Isn't it fun when they get all stubborn on us? At my 20 and 31 week ultrasound, I had to go walk around to see if she would move even just a bit. Every other ultrasound she wouldn't be still!

My 6-week PP check up was Tuesday! everything was perfect, woohoo!

I had one today and it was a bummer because I thought it would be my first internal check (36weeks) but they don't do it until 37 weeks.....Waaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!

@MaisyMay: I am not complaining cause this way we get to see her again. Otherwise I am not sure I will get another ultrasound unless something comes up.

@Smurfette: I have had a dozen ultrasounds this pregnancy; I'm so spoiled!
@ladyfingers: I thought I would be since I'm already 32 weeks, but they keep saying every 3. We're about to run out of 3 weeks at this point! My next will be at 36w1, and then 37 or 38. I can't believe it almost over!

@MaisyMay: I know! Just thinking about it in terms of appointments, I only have 8 more doctors' appointments until my due date!

@ladyfingers: Counting all of the different types of appointments, I have 1 class, 1 growth/measurement ultrasound, 2-3 diabetes appts/check ups, and up to 9 NST's, Ugh. Okay, that sounds like a lot considering they're all in the next 6 1/2 weeks.

Yesterday! Found out my doctor is going to be out of town from when I am 39 weeks, 1 day until I am 40 weeks and 2 days....didn't realize it was going to be such a long stretch of time during the tail end of my pregnancy.
Have another appointment next Wednesday and it will be the last time I see him before he goes on his vacation.

@MaisyMay: I had an appointment with my OB's PA last week and she listened to the baby's heart...161! I think her nurse forgot to take my vitals!

@MaisyMay: Not really. Some lady who works in a different office who I've never met before.

@ladyfingers: It's the 9 NST's that make it seem so huge! Once they start them, they are supposed to be scheduled every 3-4 days, but my dr is letting me skip one of them. I'll start those at 34 weeks and at 35 weeks do them twice a week.
