I usually don't start until the first or second week of December, but with my FET of IVF not starting til Jan, I have to concentrate on the holidays. So I was fine with listening to Christmas music this past weekend. We also traveled this weekend to do our holiday photo so I was already in the holiday mindset. DH has already been listening to it for about 2 weeks.

Um, never? I can't stand Christmas music. I like "all I want for Christmas is you" and "christmas wrapping" and that's it!
That said, based on my family's preferences, I learned it's acceptable to start listening the day after halloween

I listen occasionally throughout the year but a lot more starting after Halloween. -
I don't mind it if it's on (mostly), but I never actively turn it on myself, if that makes sense. We are an all rock, all the time house, lol.

Over the last week I've turned it on a few times. This week is my "hell week," (and I mean that in the most fun/nice way possible: I'm hosting Thanksgiving, then my twins' 2nd birthday party on Sunday, and I'm trying finish all my Christmas shopping and wrapping by that day, as well, so I can relax and enjoy December). I do it to myself, but Christmas music and wine make the jobs easier
