Someone posted on FB a picture of someone's Christmas lights being up.
Is that too soon? I think so.
DH is a big Christmas fanatic and he plans to put his lights up after Thanksgiving.

I grew up putting up the Christmas decor the day after Thanksgiving. So I somewhat passed that tradition on when I got married.

December 6th. My birthday is that day and that's always been my special thing to do that day.

I'll be the dissenter--well, we don't put up outdoor lights, but I'm going to start putting up Christmas decorations sometime this week. We're leaving the Friday before Thanksgiving and will be gone the whole week after, and December is going to be craaaazy with the end of term and with the fact I work part-time in a church: there's going to be no time to decorate then, and I love to see them up regardless!
