I have a terrible singing voice and it seems the apple may not have fallen far from the tree. Both sides of the family comment on it frequently. She's 2.5. Is there any hope for her?

What exactly do you mean by good singing voice? Like singing in tune and on key? I don't know if my son had a good voice or not, but I'm delighted that he does sing in tune and has been singing in tune since just after turning 2.

Kids don't have pitch control typically until older-- like 6/7 yrs.

@lamariniere: I'm so signing ignorant I had to look up those 'in tune' and 'on key' (and 'pitch'). After reading and YouTubing I still don't get it. My definition of 'good' would just be not comically bad or painful to listen to.
@erinpye: Good to know. I'll drop that when we visit MIL next week if she says anything. DH's family sings as a hobby (community choirs, church, etc) so they are excited to see how LO's voice will develop.
