Does he/she call for Mom or Dad?
LO 2 always screams MAMA at the top of her lungs. Her preference for me during the day isn't as strong!

DS1 just typically cries but will reach out to me more often than DH.
DS2 can't say it yet, but if DH is trying to comfort him when I am in the room, he will reach out for me too. He knows where his milk comes from though

DS is 16 months but he doesn't really wake up at all during the night, if he does he soothes himself back to sleep.
But he's always had a preference for DH, even when he's sick and wants to be comforted. Mommy is second best, lol. Boo.

She's been saying dada lately. When she is awake and upset she usually wants me, but when she wakes up its dada dada. It's awesome because then he feels like he has to go in and soothe her and I go back to sleep!

OMG DD (27 months) always calls for me! If DH even opens the door to her room in the MOTN, she gets hysterical and basically tells him to get lost. She has been going through a rough sleep phase lately (and by lately I mean off and on since the beginning of last summer) and I am exhausted! She also has a pretty strong mama preference during the day too-- I am really trying to figure out how to address it since it is getting to be too much for me (and we will hopefully be adding to our family soon).
