I'm sleeping in the same room as Charlie and he loves it! Normally he sleeps alone in his room and he just loves having company. He has slept pretty well even with time zone changes and the disruption to his routine.
When you travel with your kids, where do they sleep? Do they sleep ok?

Most of the time we are visiting family so they sleep in the same room as us; DS in a PNP and DD on a blow-up bed on the floor. When we went on vacation, we rented a three bedroom house so they had their own rooms which they don't even have at home.

We're doing a road trip tonight to see family and meet-up with friends. LO will sleep in the same room with us. She'll have her pack'n'play, but if she gets fussy we'll put her in the bed with us.

We keep the playyard with us at all times and she'll sleep in that w/ a few blankets piled on the bottom to make it comfortable.

M is in the pack n play and Lala sleeps with us as always. Tonight we have the luxury of a two bdrm condo in sun valley, so we'll enjoy not having both girls in our room while traveling.

we took a trip last week and stayed in a hotel. they provided a crib for us but in the end we kept LO in the bed with us

They sleep with us. They used to sleep in the travel crib but unless we have a suite, they will protest if we're all in the same room.

When Noelle was <2 years old, she would sleep in the hotel crib wherever we went. Now she sleeps in the big hotel bed with us ever since we made the transition to a twin bed for her. It's worked out well!

We've only traveled once with DS and he was in the PnP. It was awful. He barely slept, we barely slept. DH doesnt want to travel with the kids ever again haha

We bring a PNP and LO sleeps next to our bed-- we've gotten hotel suites most of the time so we can watch TV in the parlour while she snoozes. But our last trip, we got a house on AirBNB for the same price and it was a LOT better!

He has always slept awful away from home. At least when we travel when he was 4, 6 and 8 months he coslept with us and it worked great. But now he won't co-sleep. We traveled for a few days last month and he slept in a PNP. I thought it would be horrible but it worked out great.

We always take the BabyBjorn travel crib and she sleeps in the room with us.

She's in the pack n play. We prefer for her to be in a separate room.... she is a light sleeper so it's hard for us to be quiet plus she just goes to bed easier when we aren't right there. But if we have to be in the same room, like if we're camping, we make it work.

She usulaly sleeps in a pack n play either in our room or just outside (if it's feasible) she wakes up from us so having her outside the room is better for her sleep quality.

We usually try to get a suite so we have fridge access and ideally a kitchenette, and LO can also sleeps in the room when we hang out for a bit in the living room area. We sleep in the same bedroom when traveling, but at home he sleeps alone in his room.
We bring along our travel crib, even to international trips! I think that thing won't last very long and he's going to outgrow it soon (I am hoping for it because we have to bring an extra large suitcase just for that thing).
LO (18 months) hates the travel crib. The first few nights we used it he cried for hours before able to go to sleep, and then woke up and cried. For our recent trip to iceland the weather was very cold and even though I put 2 pajamas on him with a wearable blanket it was too cold, so I moved him to our bed in the middle of the night (he cries, poor thing).

Usually it's a place with family, like my parents lake cottage, or my brother's house, so he has his own room. When we stay in hotels, he sleeps in his own bed and does pretty good. We once stayed in a two bedroom suite which was nice. He just slept in a separate room.
He always sleeps good.
