I need to put a small collection together for DD who should be here in a month or so! I had forgotten about things like headbands since I had a boy first. So -- where do you like to buy them?

I bought a few on Etsy. StellinaB and SweetVioletKisses. I prefer bows for my girls.

I bought a few on Etsy, made a few diy. They never really worked for DD so I switched to bows quickly.

My favorite bows are from baby wisp! Best for babies with minimal hair

Etsy! R didn't have enough hair till 7-8 months or so for bows. Now she rips the headbands off.

Like a bunch of people said, Etsy. Baby Gap, Gymboree, Target, Carters, I'd buy them anywhere. But the best for the newborns I thought were the Carter's 3 pack. The elastic is super soft and doesn't leave any marks.

@shopaholic: I'm glad to see a recommendation for newborns - thanks for that! I wouldn't have thought to buy them from Carters. I think I'll buy a 3-pack today so that we have a few for her first week at home.
Some of the other ones are adorable but don't look incredibly comfy.

We bought the 3 pack from Carter's, and they stayed on really well from 0-6 months or so. Haven't tried them recently because LO pulls them off.
