So I ordered some awesome invitations and party stuff for Xander's birthday, but it's all digital files (high resolution jpgs and pdfs). So now I need to get it all printed!
Where do you usually go for stuff like that??

Do you have a kinkos or local print shop? We've got a local print shop that caters to the college so I have always gone there.

We use a local print shop. The kind of place that does business cards, promotional items, etc. They can really do everything and I always use them for invites I've purchased from etsy.

@T.H.O.U.: @BananaPancakes: There are definitely local print shops in my area - I've just never used them and don't know much about them! Guess it's time to do some research!!

I have printed stuff at Staples or Office Depot before. But my friend designs invitations and she uses Zazzle a lot. I think we used Vista Print for our Save the Dates for the wedding.

@looch: @Smurfette: Oooh, thanks girls - I'll look into Vista Print and Zazzle!!

I used staples for wedding stuff. They can also cut things to size if needed (like I printer 2 5x7 invites per full sheet of paper and they cut them to size). Or vistaprint always has coupon codes, never order without a coupon there.

Vista print, always. They have an upload your own file to many of their different products.

@Adira: Did you get it on etsy? Maybe ask the designer if they can recommend a site?

I go to Office Depot. In fact, I'm going there today to print off some baby shower stuff.

I second mpix as blackbird mentioned. My DH does photography on the side and uses them. We used them for birth announcements and Christmas cards.

MPIX for quality stuff like invites. Love their thick cardstock. Vistaprint to save money, but it's not the same kind of quality as MPIX.
FedEx office for stuff like posters...we have his first birthday chalkboard printed there.

I used Staples for baby shower stuff I ordered via Etsy and it all came out great.

VistaPrint is super cheap and pretty good. I prefer MPIX, but for a birthday party invitation I wouldn't hesitate to use VistaPrint. I was going to print Sadie's through VP, but I ended up just printing them at home. They turned out fine, and it was free!

I used staples for my wedding stuff, too, but they took it upon themselves to select a new font for my invites, it was bad, then they had to print with a new approved font, but the size of the wording was different so they printed the whole thing bigger- I already had pockets for them to go in & the envelopes had the handwritten calligraphy addresses all done, it was a nightmare & I was a pretty chill bride, but I wanted to kill them by the 3rd printing.
Staples was reasonably priced & the final print looked great, you may need to micromanage though. Vista print always has discounts, I have printed a few things with then & don't find their printing to be impressive (slightly off center, kinda looks like home printing), but if it's not super important & you aren't picky, they're usually the most economical option.

I go to a place called Rapid Refill. There are a couple options in my community but I like the people who work there the best.

@blackbird: @Jewel664: @wheres_c: @photojane: Thank you for the mpix recommendation! I ended up using them for the invites and they came out FANTASTIC! Just received them in the mail today and I'm sooooo happy with the results!! Thanks ladies!
@looch: @Smurfette: @HolisticMama: @wheres_c: @LuLu Mom: @photojane: @mrs. bird: Does vista print do regular prints (of various sizes)? I seem to be stumped by their website.
