My family stays with us.
The in laws always get a hotel or stay with DH's aunt.

All of DH's family lives out of town, so when they visit (aunts and uncles, cousins, etc) they noramlly stay with either his mom or his sister.

We only have a 2BR place, with the 2nd room about to become a nursery, so they always stay in hotels. We don't even have a spare bed. When LO gets here, if my mom comes up alone she might stay on the couch or air mattress, but if she and my dad come together they'll stay in a hotel.

If my mom visits, she stays with us. DH's parents only live an hour away so they just go home.

Everyone stays at our house. We make room via airbeds or sleeping on couches in our small little home.

We've only ever had my mom stay with us right before and after I had DS and she stayed on a futon we in the nursery (DS was sleeping in our room). I'd be shocked if any of my family other than her came to visit, and if any of DH's family comes they usually stay with my ILs who are only like half an hour away.

Depends on how many people are visiting? We can put a couple (2 people) up in our office and on an air mattress. Our apartment is kinda small. We do have two bathrooms so they don't have to share with us.
Larger than that, they would have to get a hotel room.

We have a 1 bedroom apartment, and everyone stays here. So far, we've hosted tons of friends, my mom, DH's sister along with her husband and two kids, and MY sister along with her husband and two kids.
Yup, 6 people in a 1 bedroom apartment. We have 3 air beds.
But we really liked having our families here.
