We are looking at starting potty learning when H is two. She is very interested in the potty, loves sitting on her seat, and has pooped in the potty once. However, she's very petite for her age (32" tall, 24 lbs., wears 18 month pants) and I'm worried that the 2T/3T panties I see at Target/Gymboree/Old Navy are going to be too big for her. Is there anywhere that sells smaller sizes?

@avivoca: My LO is petite as well (25.5 lbs, 35") and the 2T/3T are actually ok on her. The Fruit of the Loom I got seem to run a little smaller than the Disney character ones so maybe try those.

E has a teeny tiny booty and the 2T/3T fit her fine. Honestly, most of the time, though, she goes without at home. They do shrink quite a bit in hot water and dried on high heat

Just checked DD's stats and she was also 24 lbs and 34 inches at age 2 and we had started PTing about 1-2 months prior. She fit into the 2T-3T underwear just fine (old navy, target/disney, and gymboree). A bit loose but definitely not falling off her or anything. I also bought her the gerber training pants in 18mo and those fit her fine as well (I think I recall they were just right as they ran a bit small).

The 2T/3T Disney ones are pretty small (sold at Target/WalMart, etc.), and the Carters ones work fine for my LO, who is small too.
Don't know about any other brands, those are the ones we've stuck to as they fit her great, and she's 26lbs and about 34" tall.

I was going to say they may fit big at first but will probably shrink in the wash.... Go H! I'm so excited the Oct '13 babies are potty training!

The 2t/3t run really small. Check out the weight in them. It was not consistent with clothing sizes.

I think you will be fine. They tend to run small. We trained at 27 months when LO was in 2t pants and ended up with the 4t undies from target because they fit the best. Good luck!

H&M has surprisingly cute girls panties. We bought the 1.5-2 year size and they were so teeny.

My little dude is 24 lbs (3rd percentile at 2.5) and the 2t undies fit him perfectly

D is exactly the same size and the 2t/3t are a little big but they work. They shrink as you wash them... sometimes we roll the top down.

H and M 2Ts fit my 22 pound 2 year old, and they're super cute!

Some 2T brands run on he small size. My DS was just under 20lbs when he started wearing underwear.

I have M in underwear that's a size too big for her just because they're so much easier for her to pull up! They look a little bunchy but she couldn't get the smaller ones over her little booty

I bought some Gerber training pants in 2t and some regular cartoon 2t panties at tjmax and they all fit my 34 in tall, 23.5 lb 2 year old just fine.
