No suggestions - I used to go with my mom, grandma and great aunt when I was little, but haven't been in years. Hope you have a great time!

@californiadreams: We go shopping in Buffalo a couple times a year so my suggestions are as follows.

1. Niagara Outlet Mall (http://www.fashionoutletsniagara.com)
has some good stores, I usually get stuff for my niece and nephew at Carters or Children's Place, make sure you have a general idea of how much stuff is here so you know if you are actually getting a deal

2. There is a pretty big Babies R Us in Buffalo (1569 Niagara Falls Blvd, Buffalo, NY 14228) in the same plaza a big Target and other stuff, this is one of our must stops every time .

3. Buy Buy Baby (1261 Niagara Falls Blvd, Amherst, NY 14226) is supposed to be good too.

A word of warning. My cousin tried to get her stroller in the US and the lady told her that you cannot bring it across the boarder (they will confiscate it!) because it doesn't have a Canadian Safety stamp on it!!!!!!! She ended up just buying it here and asked at the border if she could have brought it back and the guy she got didn't know......

ETA: maybe you leave your stroller for you LO at home and purchase the Uppa, use it while you are there, and then bring it back with you that way........

Where do you like to be? Closer to downtown, Ie closer to smaller locally owned restaurants or closer to bigger strip malls where babies r us, buy buy baby will be?

With that being said literally everything is a "15 min" drive away.

What kind of food do you guys like? I have tons of food recommendations!! We have tons of great restaurants around here!

Anchor bar wings are actually just OK imo. LA. Nova has better wings and so does Duffs. Although I would not recommend eating in Duffs. But there are so much more good food here than wings!

A trip to the acclaimed Wegmans is definitely in order. And if you're wondering what the hype is all about trader Joe's there's one just blocks away from babies r us and buy buy baby.

How many days will you be here? Delaware Park is beautiful and there are some great museums nearby. There is a great children museum in East Aurora called explore n more. In the same village is a great little old school "nickel & dime" store. The village is really cute . Depending on where you stay East Aurora is about 20-30 minutes. I wish you were coming in the summer! Summer here is absolutely perfect. Mid April is still little yucky!

We're here, too! I've not lived here as long as @locavore_mama, but it's a really fun place to visit If you come back in the summer, we should do a meet-up outside. The parks are a lot of fun in the summer

Subscribing! We are going to be in Buffalo in December for my brothers wedding (future SIL grew up there)! We'll definitely be looking for restaurants and stuff to do while we are there.

@californiadreams: In case you were wondering about the stroller bit. Both of my Uppababy's are American, I brought them both over and didn't have trouble either time. The restrictions are on car seats and cribs. I think there is some confusion at the border with travel systems.

Also, BuyBuyBaby will price match, so if you find a coupon off UppaBaby from pishposhbaby, giggle, amazon wherever...they'll give you that price.

When my friend was in school in Buffalo she took me to Duffs!

@californiadreams: I would suggest a trip to Ted's for hot dogs and Antoinette's for ice cream. Eight years later and I still think about their sundaes!

@californiadreams: if it's nice out when you come, you can go down by the river and there is a river walk. A couple restaurants there could be open(they are seasonal, ice cream and burgers/hot dogs) it's nice down there too
