One last Prom post!
I should note mine was 20 years ago.....
It was in the gymnasium!

I can't remember the name of the place, but it was a gorgeous banquet hall that often holds weddings. In a little over a month it'll be 10 years!

A gorgeous old church that was covered to a cultural center.

We didn't have "prom" in the UK back then (although I understand that some schools have started doing it now). We had a "leavers party" in a local car-factory's social club. It was a miniskirt-and-bottle-of-peach-snapps-in-the-carpark kind of affair rather than a limo and ballgown thing!
Wow, that was 17 years ago now!!

Ours was at a local nice hotel. Everyone goes to the gardens in front of the hotel first for pictures. It's beautiful.

Junior prom was at the Marriott, and Senior prom was at another Marriott (downtown).

In the gymnasium both times.

It was at a swanky event hall about an hour away.
Here's a pic- the middle was cleared out as the dance floor.

My school always had them at a local party/event center. It was... fine. Nicer than a gym but not exactly swank. My ex's prom for his school....... I can't remember! Pretty sure it was at a different party center. I don't think it was at his high school or a hotel. So must have been a party center.

At an event center my junior year and at the state fair my senior year.

It was on an aircraft carrier! Super awesome prom. Girls weren't allowed to wear heels because of all the holes on the deck - SCORE!

I attended two proms since we moved in my junior year.
My FL HS prom was at a vintage/ antique dealership and museum. The building had 4 or 5 floors and there was a different DJ on each floor.
My DC prom was at a swanky hotel in Bethesda.
