We are having a gender ultrasound this Friday and (confession: I am hoping for a girl since this is our last) and am hoping that if I have a boy name I love, it will help temper any brief disappointment.
DS's name is William (nn Liam) Lawrence L_______. I obviously want a name that "goes." Middle name will be James. Anyway, which name do you prefer?
I am also open to suggestions! DH has vetoed: Blake, Collin, Emmett, Oliver, Gavin, Graham

Between the 3, I like Elliott best; I think the L sounds go well with an L last name (Elliott Lemon vs. Ethan Lemon), as well as a sibling with an L nickname (Liam and Elliott vs. Liam and Ethan).

@misolee: How did you decide whether to spell Elliot vs Elliott? It seems like both are traditional spellings.

Liam is my all time favorite name but DH didnโt like it. We have a Matthew Robert and a Connor James. Connor was my number 2 name. Since I was so sad when baby 2 was a boy DH let me use my number 2 name.

I love Liam, and I voted Ethan because it's DS's name. Its Top 7 right now I believe, but I only very distantly know of 2 other Ethan's and they're a decade older.

I chose Ethan. There was very big wave or Aiden, Jayden, Brayden and other rhyming names a few years ago and I havent quite gotten over it yet.

@LCTBQE: Yes!! All I know is being a boy mom. I went to the "forbidden" section of Target (baby girl's clothes) and it felt so weird! I bought these and felt a lot better.
