So my parents and sister are getting DD a learning tower for her birthday. YAY for listening for once to my requests, haha. Anyway, I guess the person who's making it can make it in pretty much any color. I have dark brown cabinets, griege walls, and teal/turquoise accent walls in the kitchen, living and entry. I can't decide if I should have it blend in, or match the wall or match the trim. I need your help deciding! Attached a picture of my kitchen. Sorry for the mess and night picture!

I'd probably do white or red. Either way it'll pop against the teal and cabinets.

I think white wouldn't look great with your furniture/cabinets.
Teal if you can match it closely, or dark wood color.

I'd do dark brown... It's a big thing so at least hide it a little to reduce the look of clutter.

and out of curiosity, how old is your LO? i only heard of learning recently on HB, but i assume they must be younger toddlers? i don't quite understand why they are so expensive.

@californiadreams: my DD is turning 2 in Feb. The person who is making it charges $115 for a finished tower. $95 for a natural clear coat. It folds up too. We have a step stool but she's fallen off of it a few times, which is why I want to get a tower.

@abbydabbydoodlebug: ok that's why i thought it must be for younger toddlers. i never heard of them so never had one, but at age 3, we bought a step stool and it does the job. i will probably be tempted with my next LO since i know about them now!

We have a red one and it definitely chips and gets marked up. I would have gotten the natural wood one if I could go back in time. I voted brown for you!

I would do a dark brown one to hide dirt/spills. If you have a white one you'll notice crud on it all the time. And if you paint it a color, you might hate it once it's in your house, or it might be harder to sell.

we're getting a bright green Little Partners tower used from a friend. Doesn't make sense to pay the full amount for a new one, but I SOOO wish I would match our cabinets and blend in.

Thanks everyone for the input! I decided on dark brown to blend in/hide dirt. As much as I'd love a color one, I think I'd regret it because of dirt showing! I can't wait to get it!!
...I mean my DD to get it. It's for her, not me. haha.
