I'll be 20 weeks next week and can't believe how it's flown...but I have a feeling the latter half will drag.
What was your experience?

Time stopped while I was pregnant. Once I went on bed rest (in particular the hospital bed rest), time actually started moving backwards, believe it or not.
I'm glad the first half has moved quickly for you! In all honesty, the second half moves pretty quick until you hit 36 weeks.

I felt like the first trimester was glacially slow. I couldn't wait to announce. I still have 8.5 weeks left before my due date though so we'll see if it ends up going even slower than the first tri.

Both halves were slow...but I guess maybe the 2nd half went quicker as I didn't feel as nauseous and I was kept busier (we moved across country when I was 28 weeks).

The last half was fastest for me. With the amount of issues I've had with getting and staying pregnant, the first half couldn't have gone more slowly.

Both are such assholes this time around. I was on diclegis until about 22 weeks and had miserable sciatic pain until recently....now i'm 26 weeks and i know what's coming and it's just going to be a different suckfest, heh.
With E, the second half was much slower/worse! I felt pretty good with her until about 7 months along!!!

I think the first time around, it felt slow despite taking our time getting the nursery, etc. setup. This time around feels fast. I can't I'm going to be 24 weeks next week. It feels like it was just September when I learned I was pregnant again. I think it feels fast because every week with a toddler and work feels so fast.

The first 8 weeks and then the last 3 were the longest with my son and I think it will be similar this time. So with that the first half is the one that goes slowest. I hate having to keep it semi secret and waiting till I get out of the danger zone for MC.

The first 20 weeks were awful. I was so sick, felt shitty, looked just plain pudgy.
The last 20 weeks is when all the excitement started!!! Though tomorrow is 40 weeks and I feel miserable all over again. It's easier to carry on with life though, nausea makes that much harder.

The first 20 weeks were the quickest for me.
After that my legs began to swell significantly and work became painful so it dragged on.

The nausea in the first trimester made that move so slow. The second half I was planning a move from Louisiana to DC, getting a new apartment, and starting a new assignment. I was more than willing to have my son be induced at 42 weeks, but he came at 40+2.

Thinking back I feel like they were both equally slow for different reasons.
The first half you're constantly waiting for SOMETHING to happen. Bump, kicks, ultrasounds, dr appointments, etc. In the last month it goes by a little faster because so much is happening, but the last 5 weeks last long enough to even it out.

I think second! First trimester seems super long waiting through the worries etc. even though you technically don't live through the whole 13/14 weeks aware that you're pregnant! (Since most ppl find out at 4+weeks). Last time after the gender scan seemed to fly by!
I'm trying to enjoy every week this time even though the first trimester nerves and nausea were so much worse this time around. Overall this entire pregnancy seems to be flying by!

@blackbird: Ditto. Both halves suck. And both are eternities.
Literally eternal. So. So. Long.

First half was slow. I felt like crap my whole first trimester, plus I couldn't even properly bitch about feeling like crap because I was worried it would get worse and I wanted to save my "insufferable pregnant lady" card for later. Plus I was scared of miscarriage of course, and of the anatomy scan showing everything was okay.
But my 20 weeks I felt normal, I wasn't scared, and I was in planning mode for work and nursery and names and all that fun stuff. Second half flew by.

First half draggeddd! Second half flew until like 36 weeks. The last two weeks felt longer then the entire pregnancy. Thank god she came early!

Last 20 with my first pregnancy went by much faster than the first. I'm now 14 weeks with my second baby and I feel like I blinked and it flew by!
