My sister is due with her fourth LO in September and I wanted to get her something special. I'd like to give her an everyday necklace commemorating her children without being too corny, grandma-ish etc. There are so many cute ones on etsy but few would be good for four kids.
So, which would you prefer?

It was really hard for me to decide between the leaf pendants and the washer style. However, I did choose the washer style.

I love the first and the second, but I ended up going with the washer style. Like @seabsher I was really torn between the two!

first or third! first cause I just think it looks the nicest, and third because it has whole names, and I'd be slightly afraid the first one would get caught in clothing/hair/little fingers.
...but I still chose the first one

I have the leaf one as a bracelet and it is super fragile. While it is pretty it isn't very practical. I kind of wish I had gotten a different one! I've already had to reattach the initials. I got one for my MIL and SIL's also, and 2 of the chains broke within a week.
If she's a mom to 4 she may need something sturdier. I picked the last one!

@Littlebit: @tysonja: These are really good points. The first one is definitely more fragile looking. I am leaning toward the washer style. I really like the script and my sis likes hearts.

I think the first is cute but would be much more likely to wear the third. Also if she is planning on a 5th or more it seems like you could maybe add to it.
What a sweet gift! I'm sure she will feel special either way.

I've always thought this nest by Waxing Poetic was really cute! The pic is huge, but several of my friends have them and they're a little smaller than a quarter.

I like the delicate design of the 1st one, but not a fan that the tree is upside down so I voted for #2. It seems more sturdy also.

I love the second one that @swedishfish: linked to. The leaf pendant is nice, but it honestly looks like something my mom would wear for her grandchildren. I don't know how old your sister is, but I much prefer the look of the circles.

@simplyfelicity: I prefer that one to the leaf pendant. It looks kinda big, though. I just really like the simplicity of the circles with the initials (but I'm a minimalist when it comes to jewelry).

@simplyfelicity: The first one is nice and unique but for everyday wear, I vote for the third one, only because I also have something similar which I bought from this seller and the quality has been great so far!

The washer one for sure!! Our pedi has something like it with her 4 kids and it is super cute!
The leaf one looks like something my Mom and Aunt's would wear for all the grandkids.
