My inlaws are definitely more interested about my pregnancy. They constantly want updates and want to discuss baby names! My parents are more chill and they only ask me how LO is doing when I talk to them!

Both of them were! She was the first grandchild on my side so my mom was thrilled (and cried when I told her) and my MIL was always interested but more so after she found out she was a girl! She had all boys and then a grandson so when she found out she was ecstatic and became more excited.
Both requested updates from doctor's appointments, asked how I was and wanted frequent bump pictures!

DH's family, definitely. They kept track of my appointments and always called check in. My MIL came to our anatomy scan, and her and FIL were both in the delivery room with me and DH (and my mom). My dad and stepmom only ever called to complain about how difficult we were making it for them by not finding out the sex.

My mom, all the time. Wants every single detail about everything. I only really offer stuff up when she asks, though. Pregnancy is a lot of nothing

My family hands down. FIL has 18 other grandkids so this is old hat to him. MIL didn't even acknowledge the pregnancy until I was 20 weeks. My folks check in every day. I've never seen them so excited about anything before.

I'm sure my in-laws are just as interested, but I don't really talk to them all that often (Hubs talks to his parents, I talk to mine). So my parents get more frequent and more detailed updates. I'm sure my MIL would love to see pictures and get more updates, but I'm just not comfortable sending them to her. I have a weird relationship with her.

I'm sure my family, or more specifically, my mom and aunt. Hubby's family is pretty chill/laid back so when they call to check in on us, they'll inquire about me too.

@autumnlove: My DH only has 2 family members in his whole family and extended family. So its safe to say, I have more interest from my side.

My mum and sisters, followed by a few sisters-in-law. My inlaws were interested but not in the same way as my family.

Neither of them were! I always told them updates anyway.
