Just curious. I think I gained 7 1st trimester, 13 in the 2nd. So that puts me at 20 total so far, and I rolling into 3rd trimester this week. Should I mentally prepare myself for the numbers this trimester?

I'm at the end of my second trimester and am up about 13 lbs. I'm guessing my third will bring on the weight, though, especially since I only recently started gaining.

I gained 4 more pounds in the third trimester than I gained in the second.

Second trimester for me. I gained too much weight so I had to be a lot healthier during my 3rd, and I didn't gain much at all in my first.

Does Christmas count as a trimester? First 6 months, 6lbs, 1 month over Christams, 10lbs, haven't gained a pound since, I'm hoping things level off through my 3rd tri.

@prettylizy: LOL I gained 4 lbs over Christmas too...as in from 12/23 through 12/30. Oopsies.

I know I gained 5 pounds over Christmas (I don't know how much I weigh), but I stopped looking at the scale. All I know is that my doctor said that I am on track to gain the recommended 20-35 pounds.

I don't remember the exact numbers but I gained the most in my second trimester.

I think I was up 7 in the first tri and am up another 8 in the second tri (have a few weeks to go). I'm hoping third tri will be about the same.
I've read that it levels off in the third tri because there's no room for food . . .
