For current (ish) shows, I like the True Detective theme, and the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt theme, even though I can never get it out of my head once I hear it.

I did the exact same thing. I think I even have a burned CD of tv theme shows songs somewhere in my house. I'll have to try to find it tonight and listen to it.

I am obsessed with the True Detective season 1 theme song. Love Leonard Cohen, but season 2 isn't as good.

It's not the song that makes it, but the Dexter intro is fabulous.

I really like the Sopranos intro song, too.

Sons of Anarchy has a GREAT theme song.

From back in the day I think California Dreams has the handsdown best theme song, I loved it!

The Wire had such a great theme song. I also really like the Buffy, Angel and Firefly theme songs.
