@PrincessBaby: are you pronouncing it TEE-gan or TAY-gen? I know a TAY-gen, but I still like Sawyer with your DD1's name.

@plantains: and our work is done here! ;). Tristan Rose is perfect and just like Harper, Tristan won't be nicknamed and she will be so cute with her blonde locks and I shall love her forever!

@Mrs. Jacks: could be NN Tris (like the Divergent books/movies), but I actually kind of like that NN.

@Shutterbug: that's true too, but I definitely don't think it needs a nickname
(and if I recall, PB prefers the name to not be nicknamed).

I voted for Sawyer but I love Tristan even better! I don't like Teagan...sorry.

Teagan. I don't care for Sawyer with your last name nor with Harper's name, and I don't like that it runs into Rose. Sorry!
Eta: I do like Sawyer! It just feels to me like it doesn't work in those specific combos.

@PrincessBaby: I know how you feel about the name coming to you, and it just feeling right. I think you guys are going to agree on Sawyer Rose

Sawyer Rose is pretty. I don't love Teagan, it just sounds a bit harsh to my ears

Can I vote for both? They are both so great!!! I am afraid that T is getting a little popular, which is a no-no for us. But, I can't imagine it ever being a "Sophia" (which is a BEAUTIFUL name, just so popular). Whichever you pick will be awesome!

I like Saywer better!
ETA: I like Sawyer better than Most of these, and I'm sure you've seen a lot of these, but I tried to think of unisex names.

I really like Sawyer Rose. I actually liked all of the names (Blake, Blakely, Sawyer), but Teagan is my least favorite, sorry! I also like more androgynous names, so I'm with you in that boat

I like both of them to be honest. But the way I see it is if your DH is still mulling over Sawyer and not 100% sure, then he should be the one coming up with alternatives, not having you go crazy racking your brain for other options. You love Sawyer, and your mind is pretty set on that right? So let HIM give you some other options he wants over Sawyer. If he can't think of any- done! Sawyer it is

@Mrs. Jacks: Awwww, that is pretty but not for me:(. I'm sorry! I feel bad but I just don't feel it for some reason, though apparently I'm odd man out!!!! Thank you for thinking so hard for me!!!
@NovBaby1112: So I do rack my brain, it drives me nuts our kid doesn't have a name. But he is more casual about it. He has asked me about several names, but I usually nix immediately, so I don't post them here. But he brought up Blake last night, and it made me think a little instead of immediately nixing:). So to his credit, he does look for names, but I am definitely more frantic about it. He thinks it's fun to take our time and be really casual. I think it takes all the fun OUT of it. I tried to play it cool but it's starting to wear me down & cause me to get more frantic. And trust me, he knows that even though he thinks we have plenty of time.

@PrincessBaby: I'm crushed! I was sure you were going to love it. Are you sure you don't?
Would your husband like it?
Someone should use it! Maybe Cherrybee will like it, as she likes unisex names.
Oh well, here I was getting ready to open my baby naming business
(as an aside, Tristan was now trending on Nameberry when I just went over there to look at it. Hellobee effect?)

@Mrs. Jacks: haha probably HB bounce on nameberry. . I googled it bc i hadn't heard of it as a unisex name before, it seems like calling a girl mark or Todd to me.

@Maysprout: It's for real... That's pretty funny, an HB bounce!

I think you should go with Sawyer. I feel like it was your first instinct when it came to this baby girl!

I really like Mrs. Jack's suggestion of Tristian Rose, and I think it goes well with your last name and your daughter's name. However you would run the risk of everyone calling her "Kristin" on accident.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: Tru dat, Mama:) It looks pretty good for the home team but I can't wait until we know for sure!
@LemonLong: I think it's really pretty too! Just totally not for me, for whatever reason:( I hope someone on here read it today and uses it!!!

I'm a teacher and several years ago, I had an adorable little girl in my class named Sawyer. She was this petite little blonde thing that was sweet as sugar. I have a very positve association with the name. Teagan may get mispronounced and misspelled and asked to be repeated, but Sawyer will be clear. I much prefer it.

@travellingbee: So that's what I have already, a beautiful little blue eyed blondie, and so when I picture a little girl named Sawyer, I picture her somewhere along the lines of DD1, and it makes my heart melt!

@PrincessBaby: When I was pregnant I could picture a little red headed toddler with with beautiful curls called Beatrice. Aside from the fact DH vetoed that name, DD was born with dark hair (she has the curls though) and is not a Beatrice. You never know what your baby will be like.

@AprilFool: lol, true! But my DD actually had light brown hair until she was about 5 months old, then it turned platinum, so even if I waited to see what this LO looks like when she's born before picking a name, I feel like that wouldn't do any good either unfortunately:)

@PrincessBaby: lol. DD hair lightened as well but it sadly still hasn't turned red!
