Do you remember who came up with the name of your LO?
Or if it's a family name, who suggested that you use it for your LO?

Before we found out I was pregnant I was looking at baby names on the internet and was texting the ones I liked to DH and we both liked Cadence but we decided to spell it Caidence.

DH and I sat down one day, when we were engaged, and just started reading them off a website. We spent like seven hours, and came up with a master list of favorites.

It's a family name, but hubby picked it. He was way pickier than I was, so I let him have whatever he wanted. And he picked the perfect name

My cousin actually came up with DS's name. DH and I came up with our baby's name... well, we heard it somewhere and both really loved it

Before we were expecting, DH said that he'd always wanted to name his first son after his grandfather. I didn't like the full name, but that's when we started playing with names and came up with our boys name choice that honours both his and my grandfathers. We're having a girl, and around the same time we settled on a name that honours our grandmothers.

For our first baby, I went through a baby name book and wrote down any names I liked. Then, hubby went through the list and crossed off the ones he didn't like. We discussed the final few and finally decided on one. The middle name, hubby came up with while we were in the hospital because our LO was born on the same day as my hubby's grandfather. With our second baby, hubby chose a name last month and I liked it too. We decided on the middle name together last week.

I did right after our full anatomy scan when we found out we were having a girl. I decided on the name about an hour later and DH liked it so that is what we went with.

We both did. We each made a list of our favorites and had a "workshop" where we put them on post it notes and tried first and middle name combinations. We're both project managers, so while it seems corny, it's totally fitting to our profession, lol.

My husband! We were having a family "brainstorming" session and he came up with it. Our second choice "Liam" was my step-mother.

I first said it out loud and the hubs instantly fell in love with it. In the end, he had to convince me of it because I started liking other names.
