How long have you been doing it, what are you growing, how much room do you have, where do you get your plants - or do you start from seed? I would love to get a few plants going. I finally have a full-sun balcony, although there's not a lot of extra room. I am in zone 5. Ideally, I would grow low-maintenance stuff that doesn't harvest too late since I am due in September.

I'm doing tomatoes, red peppers and jalapeño peppers in a container garden this year. Doing herbs, as well. I'm in NC and due in June. I don't want all the work of the real garden again so, the plants are in posts. I think they'll do okay, just plant everything in a container that gives it room to grow.
My starter plants came from the farmers market. I use miracle grow on veggies since they seem to like it.

I don't grow veggies yet.... but hoping to in the future! I'll keep an eye out for this thread to get ideas too.

I will have a veggie garden (haven't started yet... my garlic from this past winter is taking FOR-E-VER to mature), but last year we did tomatoes (3 plants/types), eggplant, asparagus, Japanese cucumbers, cauliflower (too big and won't be doing it again), serrano peppers (still using the same plant from last year), herbs (cilantro, parsley, chives, thai basil, mint, lemongrass-- I'm getting rid of the parlsey & chives this year and will be planting Vietnamese herbs instead).
Luckily, I have a full-sized backyard, so we're not going a container garden. We live in SoCal. I need to pull these effing garlic bulbs out and start planting my tomatoes soon!
