Front is us, twins and two dogs. Family shot.
Back is 3 photos. 1) Twins in their santa suits 2) Twins with Santa 3) Dogs with Santa
ETA: This is the first year with the twins. We've always done a holiday photo with us and our two dogs for the past 5 years, so we will continue the tradition as long as we can. This year, the babies were good, it was the dogs we had trouble with.

All of us.
If I'm gonna pay money for cute cards and postage, you better believe there's gonna be a picture of my mug on there, too!

Just the kids. In prior years it has been all of us but I didn't have one I thought was good enough to put on the card this year so I stuck with the kids

Front is just LO... and Santa's (Hub's) hands
Back has 2 photos one of all three of us and one of just LO

Our card had 3 photos this year-- family shot and solo shots of each of the kids.
Last year, we did just the kids on the front and a family shot on the back.

First year we sent it was my dog. Next year was both dogs (we got a puppy) and last year and this year was the dogs with my son.

Just the kids! We've done a family pic before though, when it was just lo1.

We don't really do the family photo card thing here in the UK. E made all of our cards this year - they're snowmen made out of painted wooden sticks.

Only DS and DD. I figure people don't really want to see photos of us

Just LOs. I used to hate getting cards with just the kids, and I kinda hated sending it out like that, but we had no decent pictures of us.

All three humans. This was the first year with LO, and therefore also the first year the dogs got booted off of the card.
We just received a card from my aunt & uncle featuring about a dozen photos of their only grandson... and nobody else. None of them, none of their son/his wife... just the kid. My parents and I were like, what!!! And yes, my cousin/his wife did send out their own card with photos of them & their son. It was so crazy.

Just our daughter.
Last year the dog photo bombed, so she was on it too. This year I locked her in the kitchen while I took the picure.

I picked other. My kid and Santa were on the card. We didn't get family pics done this year.

Just the girls. I DIY every year and it's hard enough getting a good picture of just the kids! maybe one year we'll get pro pics.

We do all of us even though DH and I don't like being in pics because I think most people are interested in seeing adults, too. I know I am!

The front is LO (past two years it has been a family shot). But there are lots of family photos inside and on the back of the card. My friend just started a photography business and did such a great job that I just loved all the photos this year

LO on the front and all 3 of us on the back as a family. We did the card as a birth announcement/Christmas card combo.

As much as I love my friends' kids, I love my friends more and like seeing pictures of the adults in holiday cards, too. Sometimes I get cards from distant family, with just photos of the children, and I honestly wouldn't know who it's from if the names weren't printed on them.
We do my husband and the kids and I on our cards.

Front is just the kids, back has a few small photos including one family shot. I like seeing the parents!

Front is the kids (3 photos total: 1 DS, 1 Both, 1DD)
And in the Flap there's a pic of all of us.
No pets that we could picture

Just the kids. It was hard enough getting a decent picture of the two of them - trying to capture the whole family would've been impossible!

We have double sided cards this year. E and T on one side and a mix of family pics on the back--one of all four of us, another of just the kids, and one of just me and DH

Just the baby. Too hard/complicated to get a photo of all of us.
In some dreamy alternate universe I would manage to get the toddler and both cats in one glorious perfect photo where all three are looking into the camera. But unfortunately I live here on planet Earth.

The past couple years it was just LO but this year I used one of all 3 of us and one of just him. I wouldn't mind including the dog if we had a good pic with her!

Interesting! It's funny (but makes sense) that everyone seems to send what they like to receive. I really don't care about pictures of the adults - I like to see the kids! We didn't do a picture card before LO because I was like, who wants to see our faces? So we just did regular cards.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@daniellemybelle: Same here. Before we had kids, we did regular cards, but now I do photo cards of the kids.
