SON: I suggested our son's first name and Bee had a dream about his middle name!
DAUGHTER: Bee suggested our daughter's first name, and I suggested we use one of Bee's names for her middle name.

I suggested her first name, and had a middle name in mind that I thought sounded good if Dh liked it. He said he liked and and suggested a middle name- same one I was thinking. It was that easy, weirdly! But we were TG and never decided on a boy name.

I named both.
We had conversations about it of course, but both first and middle names for both girls came off my lists.

Our son isn't here yet but we both saw his name at the same time and fell in love. His middle name, DH suggested his middle name but we chose his dad's name (he passed away when DH was young. )
As far as our girl choice, DH came up with the first and I suggested the middle. Hopefully we get to use it someday!

I suggested her first name and he agreed. Her middle name was also me. Together her first name and middle name are a play on where DH and I met.

We chose the names together, after a lot of discussion, obviously, but they all came from me originally. The only exception was the middle name we were planning on using for this LO, but we recently changed our mind on it. The new one is actually DH's middle name (with a more feminine spelling), and is a family name on his side, but I was the one who suggested it. Also, he's the one who fell in love with her first name and insisted it's the one he really wanted, even though it was one I liked for a looooong time before we started TTC. So really, even though they were my suggestions, we both had strong opinions on them.

Me for both. My husband was mostly on board but after they are born and he sees them and calls them by name and stuff he's 100% on board. It works for us.

DH suggested her first and her middles came from family members on my side.

I found the name, suggested it to DH and he loved it.
I gave him his middle name, but then DH begged that he also have his name as his middle name. We couldn't agree so he has two middle names.

Her name was M's idea. First and middle. I made a note in my phone about it 2 years ago.

Me for LO 1 & 2. MIL suggested a name for LO 3 that we like.

I named our daughter, hubby chose between 2 middle names. I'll do the same with our next baby, but I'll definitely run it past him first hehe (I push it out, I name it!)

We were going to pass Evans on as a middle name, (it's D's, FIL's, and was FIL's mom's maiden name), but I liked it much better as a first name, sans the s. For his middle we compiled a short of list of names from his mom's side, and I chose Charles (MIL's maiden name) after he was born. He could have been Evan Howard, though!!

I suggested DD1's first name, DH suggested DD2's. We selected both middle names together.

My husband named both of our daughters! There was a lot of kicking and screaming on my part...

I first suggested her first name (a wild card on a list of traditional names-he of course chose the one non traditional, Reese). The middle name was his favorite name choice, but we had to use the 'E' version rather than 'A' so that DDs initials wouldn't be RAT (which by the way he thought was NBD).

All are names that I suggested and DH loved. That's our system. I do the research and pick favorites, he does the naying and the yaying.

Me for D's first and middle and M's first. DH suggested M's middle name.

I suggest, he hones my list. At the end we say the names over and over and change up order and try some stuff out. It's an iterative process.
But I would say 85% of naming is me. So I give him lots of veto power.

DS: we saw it in a naming book and DH loved it and I liked it. He refused to entertain other names, and I couldn't come up with anything that I liked more, so we named him that name. So it was both of us, but more DH since he wouldn't suggest anything else. I told him what middle name I liked and after a little hemming and hawing on his end he agreed on the name.
DD: we both had a favorite name and decided that we would pick her first name after she was born and we saw her. We chose DHs choice. Again, I chose the middle name. This time with much less convincing

DH asked me to make the first list, both LO's first and middle are on the list. He picked out the middle name immediately from my list because it happens to be a family name for him (I didn't even know) and he really liked it. We worked together to get down to a top 3 names. He expressed his clear favorite at that point but said he'd be happy with any of them and I could ultimately decide. He felt more strongly than me so I differed.

Both. Can't even remember who suggested because we just both kinda just knew it when we found both the middle and first.

I came up with the first name (named after my Grandma's Dad) & we were looking at a baby name website & found the middle name together.

As soon as I found out what DHs grandfathers real name was, I said we need to name our first son that! That was probably 5-6 years before having our son.
Middle name options were all family names. I ranked my top three and so did dh. His number 1 and my number 2 were the same so we went with that! (My Grans middle name which was her moms maiden name).

DH suggested DD's middle name and I chose her first name. DH's family always has George as a name for boys and with both FIL and BIL being called George I required it be DS' middle name; I picked his first out of a short list DH and I compiled together.

In a way, DH did. I was eh about the name, but through a process of elimination because DH has so many friends with kids, this one came out unscathed. lol Makes me wonder if that's what we'll tell DS when he asks how we picked his name.... Not a cute story at all. Eek!

I don't remember who initially mentioned DS1 first name but DH decided on it between our final 2. I chose his middle name.
I came up with DS2's name. We had it narrowed down to 2 first names and 1 middle name and when he was born I suggested completely different names that we ultimately went with.

I think I suggested her first name when we weren't even pregnant. Then once we found out it was a girl, I said what about R and he said sounds good to him. He found the middle name.

We both did! DH came across it on a baby name list, and it was a name I had on my list from when I was younger! (A character from a show :P)

For dd, Dh suggested a name and I sort of tweaked it. I came up with her middle.
For ds we had a super hard time deciding. I have always loved his first name so I suggested it. It took Dh a little while to come around but it just felt right. Dh came up with the middle on his own and I loved it!

We've had a boys name picked since about a year into our marriage (aka: way before we even TTC LO#1) Hubs came up with it and I loved it. Its a combo of our grandfather's names William Thomas (nn: Liam) and we'd definitely use it on a future LO if we have a boy.
As for our Daughter, we had the hardest time with her name. Around 16wks, we were having breakfast throwing names around and Hubs vetoed everything I suggested and I hated the ones he threw out. Were in the car on the way home and a Fiona Apple song came on the radio and I suggested Fiona, we both really liked it so it went on the short list. At 20 weeks, we knew we were having a girl and i ended up in the hospital so i poured over the Social Security list, again hubs nixed most of my picks. I was really pulling for Audrey or Carmen (after my dad and grandfather). A few weeks later, Hubs said that if we went with Fiona I could have carte blanche with the middle name. I held on to the right to change my mind until the very last minute, but in the end we went with it and she shares my middle name. The struggle was real and I hope that when we have #2 its an easier process.

Wagon Jr.: I suggested it (it's Wagon Sr.'s name). Paternal grandfather chose the middle/Korean name.
LMW: I can't remember who suggested it since we had a huge, ongoing list. It was probably me though. Maternal grandparents chose the middle/Korean name.
