DH and I only knew each other for 2 months and spent 4 days together before we got married! He paid for the few dates we went on.

We took turns actually. I didn't want him to have to pay for all of them and I was making more $$ than him at the time (he was in school). He probably paid for more dinner dates, but I paid for more big ticket items (plane tickets, broadway shows etc)

For how young we both are, DH is incredibly old fashioned and almost never let me pay for anything ever! Even now, he is the one who has a job so he still pays for everything.

He paid, which made up for how much my grocery bill went up when he came for meals nearly every day!

He always paid. We're both pretty old fashioned like that. He lived 45 minutes away from me and I did most of the commuting because of his work schedule so he even paid for a lot of my gas. When I was there I did a lot of cooking but he always paid for the groceries.

He paid for dates. We paid for our own travel expenses when we traveled.

I think the hubby paid for a majority of the dates, but I paid for the very first one (and maybe a few ones after that too. ha!). For trips, we each paid for our own expenses and split what was shared (e.g. hotel).

He paid most of the time but I paid for groceries when I cooked for him. He always had more money than I did.

Hubs usually paid just because that's the way he was raised, plus he made more money than me. I usually offered, though, and he'd let me if things were tight for him. Usually if I paid it was that I was taking him out for something, though, like his birthday or a celebration of some sort.
