DH came to the important ultrasounds. I had so many that I just went alone. I can't imagine having my mom there. She would annoy the heck out of me.

Well my new dr's office has signs about 3 max for ultrasounds so I don't think it's uncommon for extra people to be invited along
And my friend is pregnant with twins and has tons of ultrasounds so she usually invites someone else along for the appointments her DH can't attend (her mom, MIL, SIL, and I have gone along so far)

Just my husband. I am not interested in hosting a crowd.

@Mae: My sister was visiting when we had our first (and possibly only) sono last week, so DH and I surprised her and had her come along. It was for my uterine size being greater than dates, so we had a little talk ahead of time saying be prepared for something to be weird/wrong/bad. She understood it wasn't just for fun, so I felt totally comfortable having her there.

As an update: Both my parents did come and no one at the clinic seemed weird about it! It was totally fine and they were really happy to be there.
It wasn't without any hiccups, my placenta is low and they ended up having to do a second internal ultrasound (we just had my parents step out for that!), but even that was totally fine and in the end I was glad they were there

I had three - dating u/s, anatomy scan, and one at the end to make sure she was head down. My husband came to the first two, but had a work conflict for the last. My mom and sister joined for the anatomy scan.
