How the heck do you find an OB when you don't exactly want to shout from the rooftop that your thinking of TTC or that you're PG?

I'm new to my town, and we're putting off TTC for about 6 months. I need to schedule an annual exam, and I would really like to start going to the same OBGYN that I would want to use for my pregnancies.

I'm curious how other Bees went about choosing the doctor that would be your OB for your pregnancy and when you made that decision (before or after BFP). What factors did you consider? If you chose an OBGYN before you were pregnant but with pregnancy in mind, did you ask them anything about their philosophies, etc.? For instance, did you discuss whether they push inductions, their c-section rates, etc.? I just don't know how to go about finding out these things. The reviews online haven't really given me that type of info, and the one person I know here to ask had elective scheduled c-sections, which isn't really the direction I would want to go.
