We were gifted one, but we would have bought one to take on public transportation (trains, buses) and to take on vacations...our UB vista is just too big to think about lugging up and down stairs or through an airport.

@prettylizy: I have wondered this! Sometime I think why am I spending so much on a travel system if in a few months I will get another stroller, but I don't know that I would need the umbrella (for sure not a nice one)???

My mom bought one from TRU to keep at her house. Sometimes she will watch C for a few hours for me, if I have to work, and they love to take walks through her neighborhood. It was easier to spend $30 on an umbrella stroller to keep at her house than lug my stroller back and forth.

That said, I don't particularly care for it and don't see myself buying one or using it on a regular basis. Perhaps in the future! My husband has mentioned getting one for his car.

We had a travel system that's too big and bulky.

We're going to get one to fly down to Florida with but we plan on using our Britax stroller when we're at home.

We bought it to use at my mom's house and the plan was to leave it there. It worked so well, we brought it back with us (checked-in on an international flight). I didn't get why ppl would say that because we also love our stroller. But umbrellas pack soooo well! Now that LO is a little older, I've honestly forgotten about her real stroller!
