That sucks so bad!!! They should get a ticket.

I just spent an hr on the phone since I just got married and am turning 25 next weekend. I was worried what full coverage would cost when he said both cars have to be on same policy. Thank goodness it's $85 for full coverage for both our cars, and we're moving up north!!! Be glad you at least have it!!

I beleive it's a law in WI that you need car insurance to drive, I think more and more states are doing that too

I thought texas was a no fault state so your insurance always pays regardless. thats what I was told by the car rental company when i was on a trip to texas. It really confused me

You should check with your agent but in most cases you can get your collision deductible lowered if it's a hit and run or uninsured motorist (that's the case in Oregon). I don't know of any states that let you drive without having liability insurance, unless they have their license insured but not many agents want to do that. How much damage is there? The company that I work for adjusts rates whether you are at fault or not at fault, sometimes it's just less of a headache if you pay it yourself and try to make a contract deal with the uninsured party. It sucks that people drive without insurance and makes me scared to drive, I talk to 5-10 people everyday that have been driving with no insurance.
