When we're out of the house with the kids, time goes by pretty quickly... but when we're at home (say when it's drizzling out), time seems to go backwards!
It's 7 pm now and I feel like the day has been going on forever!
Does anyone else experience this phenomenon? Why does time go by so slowly when at home with the kids?

I agree, which is why we always go out no matter what. It is easier in the burbs since you can hop in the car and avoid the elements.

That is exactly why I try to get out as much as I can, even if it's only to Target.

Lack of things to do? I dunno. Routine.
I feel it goes on forever too. We try to leave the house as much as we can.
