Absolutely. I loved her and she was so great at respecting all of our wishes about birth.

Yes, I loved my OB and felt a personal connection with her. She delivered my baby (via c-section) even though she was not on call. She said she wanted to make sure she was the first there, in really appreciated that kind of dedication and support.

Yes!! I delivered Labor Day weekend and my ob wasn't on call and delivered anyway...and I went into labor at 11 pm--delivered at 2 am!, I also had a complicated pregnancy and he was super attentive.

NOOOOOOO! No, no, no! I have the absolute worse luck picking out doctors. The doc who delivered my DD I didn't like. She had a weird bedside manner, but that was NOTHING compared to the doc who delivered my son (actually she didn't, because she wasn't on call that evening, so a STRANGER did my c-section with him). My second doc was worse than my first! Hopefully I get it right with baby 3!!!

I liked my OB, he was nice, btu I'm hoping to go with a midwife next time.

I saw a high risk perinatologist for my first.
I loved her so much, so I kind of hope I get to have her again, but then again that would be wishing to be high risk again.

For now yes, but I might still change. It depends on whether he will let me try for a vbac.

Absolutely I love my OB

I had different OBs for #1 and #2 because of distance. After our first child we moved neighborhoods and I switched hospitals that I worked for and would deliver at. If we have #3, I'll have yet another OB since we moved again!

Eh...I don't looooove mine but she hasn't done anything wrong and she has a great track record and ratings. Even her fill in "sub" is highly regarded. So, I'll probably stick around...unless I'm brave enough to do the widwife doula thing;) hmmm Ive always thought about it but we shall see.....

We really loved our midwife, but she didn't have delivery privileges at the hospital we delivered at...she's allowed to give prenatal care for a normal pregnancy at the satellite clinic, and that was it. I'd never met the OB who delivered E (he was very nice, and we liked him, but was just the OB who happened to be on call). We were mostly okay with this set-up, but the clinic we went to is now 40 minutes away instead of 5, so if we decide to have a second we'll go the satellite clinic that's closer.

Yep! I really loved her thoroughness! She was also great at communicating with me, and we found a great professional balance (I know her through work). I will automatically be going through one of the high risk OB's because of my prior pregnancy complications and c-section.

Yes, unless we move. I love my OB practice. The only person I am not a huge fan of is the receptionist who makes the appointments, but I only have to deal with her for a minute.

I keep asking when they will open a pediatrics/family medicine wing. But they just laugh. I AM NOT JOKING.

I love the midwife I had with my second, and will definitely use her with my third.

I HATED my OB from my first. We moved, so I couldn't have used him anyway for my second, but I wouldn't have if we had stayed. I don't really have a huge preference between OB and midwife in general (my care was similar with both) but that particular OB was such a jerk.

I love my midwives (there are three) at the birth center, and if we're in this area when we have other babies, then yeah! But I doubt we'll be in the USA for the next baby or three.
