    I like the name Winter for a girl but for a boy I prefer Winston.

    @locavore_mama: I also knew a family like this when I was young, but one of the girls was named Autumn rather than Fall. Even as a seven-year-old, I thought it was a bit much.

    I like it. It was #772 in 2012. I know it can go up but I wouldn't call that popular, personally.

    I immediately think of Winter Dolphin. But I think it's a lovely name.

    I think its pretty and unique- I havent heard that name IRL yet like other people have. But I dont think I would be brave enough for it. And DH would never go for it but if someone else told me their childs name was winter I would like it.

    @Kimberlybee: Wow!!!

    I think it's pretty, but personally wouldn't use it. DH would definitely be a no on it.

    DH's cousin named their kid Cloud and Wind....

    @MediaNaranja: oh wow! LOL. Those names are pretty but don't know how I feel about it all together. Very unique! Oh I grew up with a girl named Valentine because she was born on 2/14 but she went by Val.

    @Kimberlybee: My great grandfather who I never met was also named "Valentine" for a Valentine's Day birthday. Coincidentally, it's my birthday too.
