@Mrs. Tricycle: yup, I have an office, but no assistant now that I'm at a smaller school. I have to say, tho.... I had three assistant before in previous library jobs, and two of them were way more trouble than help. I blew through 3 assistants in 6 years!
Now that I'm at a small school with small circulation and small budget, I dont really need one.

Current job:
-- I get to work from home 95% of the time
-- Verizon Wireless discount
-- Stocks
-- Free employee lunch once a month (if I'm in the office)
-- Pantry and fridge full of snacks
Best perks were when I worked at Disneyland, though! Free admission for me all the time, getting to sign in friends and family for free, "behind the scenes" tours of the attractions, 20-40% discount on local restaurants, 35% discount on Disney purchases, etc.

My biggest perk, I work part time and they still pay me as if I'm there full time. So, I have the best part time job ever. Plus they pay 100% medical and dental benefits for me and LO, I get a pretty awesome bonus at the end of each year, and they gifted me an iphone and cell coverage for DH and I.

Wow, some of you get some awesome perks!!
I'm a SAHM, so my job can't get much better But when I was working outside the home, I worked for the gov't so there were very little in terms of perks, except that I could work 40 hour weeks, which is pretty unheard of for an attorney...

- I think an academic schedule is definitely a work perk.
- Depending on where my children eventually go to college, I could get incredibly discounted college tuition for them.
- DH and I are allowed to take one class for free each semester at my college (although I have yet to find the time to do that).
- I get $5 meals in the campus dining hall. The food is actually pretty good.
- Free parking.
- Free access to the gym on campus.
- $150 "wellness" benefit" -- They'll pay 50% up to $150 of things like new running shoes, fitness classes, or joining a CSA. Ours is going to our CSA membership this year.

I work from home (a perk in its own!), but also:
- frequent travel with all expenses paid and/or reimbursed.
- no set vacation, but we are free to take time off as long as we have work done.
- good insurance - which i dont use, but I get reimbursed for using DHs.
- any tech we need (computers, iPads, etc)
- colleagues that work in office are reimbursed for their commute.

Bumping this because I didn't want to post my work perks while I was at work. Ha!
It's the weekend so I don't feel as bad.
My work perks
-Free canned sodas, juices, water and an assortment of dairy products.
-Bagel and fruit Wednesday
-Free garage parking or a unlimited bus pass. We live in the city where they make employees pay to park their car to keep the city green.
-there are always food around since we have a lot of departments that order food. If I wait til about 2pm to have lunch, I can usually get free lunch.
-Good insurance with FSA for medical and childcare expenses.
-$250 fitness reimbursement
-tuition reimbursement
-my position is pretty flexible. Come in late or early. I just need to get my work done.
-stock options, employee stock purchase plan, 401K with upto 15% match
-I've gotten a raise (3-5%) and bonus every year.
-I work in a lab so I can dress in jeans everyday.
-12 week paid maternity leave
-expense work travel
-I'm on the social committee, where we plan summer picnic, christmas party, small monthly events (like expresso bar, Octoberfest, Halloween)
On the flip side, my company is known to push us very hard. I can work 50-60 hours a week. I do get 3 weeks of vacation, 10 sick days, year-end company closure from christmas to new years and the usual holidays off.

I have a very flexible boss, I can be late, leave early, or bring my kids in, just need to get everything done. He buys snacks and lunch on a regular basis, free bottled water, paid life insurance for my son and I. I couldn't ask for a better boss, I could ask for better pay though!

I personally LOVE dressing up, so I think it's a "perk" that I get to buy cute business clothing for work
Free lunch/soda/coffee/tea/juice/flavored sparkling water every day
Free hotel rooms at any Four Seasons Hotel including 50% off food and beverages (including alcohol), spa discounts
Bonus day off for your birthday!

I work at a college. Pretty strict hours and a dress code (no jeans), but get a lot of auxiliary holidays off (good friday, president's day, etc). Everyone assumes we get 3 weeks off at christmas, but we don't (have to work even if students are gone - only get christmas day and new years day off).
The big one for a lot of the employees is that if you have college age kids, they can get 50% off tuition to the college.

Not necessarily an official perk, but I'm completing my degree part-time while I work full-time, and my manager is really good about allowing me flexible time so I can make 3.00pm or 4.00pm classes.

We have pretty great benefits - just about anything not covered by OHIP(Ontario health coverage) is covered by my plan (massage, chiropractic, dental, etc).
I get free hearing aids (if I were to need them), and a wicked discount for my family.
I get a year off for maternity leave (the government pays 55% of my salary), and while my company doesn't top up the wages, I still accrue vacation while I'm away.
That being said, there are a lot of negative things that I'm having a tough time overlooking...might not go back after mat leave.

If we want continuing education that relates to our field, tuition is 90% covered by our organization. Our children's college tuition will also be 90% covered for a four-year degree.
Medical insurance has a high deductible ($2,000) but it covers air-lifting to neighboring countries, etc, and our organization will cover half of our deductible. Dental is also 50% covered.
We make a very low salary as aid workers, but we have a lot of benefits that make living on that salary doable. I'm especially thankful for the tuition assistance.

I work for a health system. We don't have a lot of perks but the one really good one for a woman like me is that all hospital procedures are free, so my delivery will only cost me a provider fee of about $400 and our anesthesiology fee.

I work from home and make my own schedule. I also get to read books before they're published, which is awesome!

my husband works from home, which is a nice perk in and of itself. they used to pay some of our expenses--internet, printer, ink, etc--but his company was bought by another one and they stopped that, boooo...
i'm in grad school but get a stipend + work as a TA, so it's kind of like a job, so i'll answer for me too the pay sucks though it covers my tuition too, and really any funding at all is really nice. i mostly make my own schedule and can work from home as long as i don't have classes or meetings. the university gym is super cheap for both me and my husband, and he has access to all the campus libraries too. i get university discounts on amazon and certain electronics and software programs. when we have a baby, i have some parental leave and can also take extra time to complete my phd. we could have had subsidized housing but we have dogs and couldn't live in the grad school apartments because they don't allow pets. plus, there's often free food at meetings--last week alone, between a 2-day conference and an evening meeting, i got 6 meals + 1 happy hour for free

My department earns comp time for any hours over 35 worked, so we can save it up to supplement vacation time, 10 sick days per year, free water cooler, full kitchen, lots of paid holidays, and free meals at events.

Free breakfast brought in each Friday
19% Verizon Wireless discount
$10 off Verizon Fios cable and internet
Free soda, water and snacks
Free coffee/latte/tea machine
Reimbursements for professional organization memberships, including event fees and other related costs, such as happy hour drinks
Season NFL tickets for our town's team that we can use as long as they're not being used by a client
Flexible work environment - toward the end of my pregnancy when it was getting very difficult to work at my desk, they let me work half days in the office and the other half from home and then work completely from home the last month.
