@squid: LOL love it!
I couldn't do white myself though. It's too sterile looking for me, although I appreciate how it looks for other people

I just bought some for myself when I got my new bed, and it was just the worst choice. The worst!

I was in with the bleaching crowd, but red clay is really hard to get out. It's the devil.

Yep! We have white flannel sheets for winter time and a white duvet cover from Anthro. I've bleached them a couple of times, still looking good. That said, we don't let our pets in our bed.

Growing up my parents NEVER had white bedding so I think I went the opposite extreme and pretty much all of our bedding is white. Duvets, sheets, even crib sheets for the kids. I like being able to see the dirt so I know just how dirty it is and when it's time to wash the linens. Plus I love the look of all white linens... just seems so crisp and clean and invitingly comfy no matter what.

I couldn't use white bedding even if I wanted to - DH is a mechanic and regardless of how much he washes up at work and at home, he's always managing to get grease on something somehow! I would be terrified of what our bed would look like!

Yes! We used to have a big white bed. I loved it but we put colored sheets on for the winter

@mrs. wagon: Yup! My mom thinks white bedding is too plain, so all of our bedding had patterns. I'm the same as you... now I love the look of crisp, clean white bedding!

@travelingbrit: oh gosh I was hoping someone else would bring this up hahahaha. It's sooo embarrassing but on the first 1-2 nights of AF I always bleed through my clothes and stain our sheets I even wear a pad and tampon! still leak... it's awful. That's what scares me about white sheets hahaha. Not me, not DH, not kids and not anything else... but my period lol

@shopaholic: Ahhh, DH has the same problem with breakouts and bleeding on the pillow cases! Ours are ivory and his case is not pretty, ugh.

@Mrs. Pen: yeah i hear you! Although maybe it would be better because they can be bleached, as some people mentioned?
I bought "bac out bio keen" to deal with lo poop but hear its good for blood stains too...

@Mrs. Pen: All my sheets are white, from "The White Company" actually! I have found no problem in keeping them clean. I only wash them by themselves though, never with anything else. I love white sheets, they are so crisp and lovely

I love white linens. Most of our bath and bed linens are white. I'll admit I didn't use them as often once LO arrived, but now that she's not in bed with us I'm back to using them more. I did switch from a white duvet cover to a quit though because I was looking for a change and our cats like to sleep on the bed. I haven't had a problem keeping them crisp and white as long as I wash them properly.

I love white! Our sheets are always white, I love how clean and crisp they look! We also mix and match duvet every so often and the white is my fav!
