@NaturallyCathy: Oh my goodness, they're adorable! I hope they're both truly girls...;) We had "two girl rabbits" when I was growing up, Pepper and Chipotle. Well, Pepper started pulling all her hair out and seemed really sick and we thought she was dying...until my mom reached in the cage to clean it and there were five baby bunnies! So definitely not two girls after all

No, never. I wouldn't get a pet just because it's a certain holiday. I don't really like the idea of giving animals as "gifts" at all.

If I could convince DH to let us have pets, heck yeah! I would get them responsibly though, knowing that they were going to become actual family pets, not just a cute novelty

No, I don't believe pets are a novelty holiday item. DH and I ended up rescuing two baby ducks last year after answering a Craigslist ad that read pretty much like "Kids got them for Easter, and now they're tired of them. Would make good bait to train a dog to duck hunt." Grrrrr.

We might consider them as pets if they REALLY wanted one, but it wouldn't be a gift for Easter or any holiday.

Not for Easter, but I'm not opposed to having a rabbit as a pet.

No, but I'm against all "rodent" pets in my house...little fluffy bunnies included.

Not without putting a lot of thought into. Probably not, especially since we don't celebrate Easter. Plus, we already have two large, fantastic cats that he will get to grow up with!

@grizz: Ugh, that is infuriating. I'm glad you took the little guys.

Only if we were seriously considering getting a bunny before. It would make an adorable timeline. But I would never, never do it for the novelty.

Maybe some day when we buy a farm..........aka nope never.
@NaturallyCathy: I love your bunnies. More IG toddler/bunny pics please!

Not just because of Easter, but if we were going to actually get a bunny, then it's no big deal. But frankly, I have no desire to have a pet rabbit. Their pellet poop looks just like food for E. And i'm sure my cats would not play nice.
I do think they are super cute and our elementary school used to have a bunny and once in awhile, we got to bring it home for the weekend

@grizz:
I wouldn't mind a pet bunny but would never buy one as a novelty / holiday gift.

Nope. I had a roommate once who had 2 rabbits and they were the worst. They chewed everything and I found out I was allergic.
