I would not.. unless it was a family name on my SO's side. Then maybe I'd consider it. Probably not though.

I really love the name Davis for a boy but it is my ex's last name. I don't think DH would mind but I still don't know if I'd use it. Luckily, it doesn't go well with our last name anyway.

No. My ex's name is one of my favorites, but I would never use it.

Nope. My ex's name is DH's grandfathers name. I know he'd like it to be considered but I can't get past it.
ETA: it ended so badly that even if I could use it, I know mom would be less than happy.

I'm struggling because there is a boy name that I love (classic, but common) but it happens to be the same name as one of my exes.

if/when we have a girl we'll name her the feminine version of an ex's name (we'll name her adrienne). i'm still friends with all my ex's so it wouldn't be awkward or wierd.

I had an ex who's name I absolutely love. I worried that the ex (who I'm still friends with) would be uncomfortable or think it was because of him so we steered clear!

Probably not. One of my favorite boy names is also the name of a long-time ex. We are on friendly terms, so I'm sure it would be insanely awkward if any of my future children shared his name.
