I don't have any tattoos but if I was going to get one, it would probably be my son's name. Not sure where I would put it tho.

Hmm I don't think so, only because then I would feel like I would have to get one for each child! And I don't think I could handle/have enough places to get three tattoos if we have 3 kids.

I would never get a tattoo (too permanent for me) but if ever I did: it would be of my son's name.

I wouldn't just because I hate needles and don't want a tattoo, but my DH did!

No, but that's because I'm not into tattoos and wouldn't get one of anything. DH has two tattoos though so I have nothing against them.

@sera_87: I like the birth date idea. Just a line, and you can add a line underneath it for subsequent children.

I don't think I'd do name, I don't think I could ever settle on a font I'd love for long enough, however, thumb print is something I've considered, or foot print (lot of space 1+ LOs though for where I'd want it).

I'm definitely getting a tattoo for DS but I haven't decided what I want yet. I've thought about his birth date or the coordinates of where he was born.

Possibly. My DH has dd's name, birthday, and footprint. He is most likely going to do that if we have more dd's. If we have ds's I think he will forgo the footprint.

Not a name, probably, but DH said he'd be willing to get a tattoo with me for our 5th anniversary, so I will probably incorporate Gwen's initial or bday in there somewhere.

My friend got me a bracelet with LOs initials engraved into a plate on it that I love and wear every day.

I would only do it after I'm done having kids, but we'll see. Sentimental tattoos are the only kind of tattoos I'd ever get.

I don't have any tattoos, but I would consider one symbolic for my kids like the birthday mentioned above, no names, but I wouldn't know where to put it! The hubby already stated he wants to get one for the kids as well.
