Ok, so we are SUPER THRILLED that DH got a job but we have a health insurance matter...our current health insurance ends July 1st and the insurance for his new job doesn't begin until September 1st.
We could sign up for COBRA but it will cost us about 1,900 a month (so 3,800-4,000) and while that may not be a lot of money to everyone, it is for us.
I know that emergencies can happen but we don't have regular medical needs. Just the occasional vaccinations for DS.
Getting health insurance through my work isn't an option.
I am *considering* going without insurance (since it's less than 3 months as per Obamacare)...am I nuts?
