My list of girl names is very short and concise. Just three names on it. But for the life of me, DH and I cannot agree on a boy name so I'm contemplating letting my brother just pick one for us. DH thinks I'm out of my mind.

Never!!! If someone made a suggestion that really struck a chord with me I might use it... But I'd never give anyone free reign (not even my husband!)

I could see letting someone pick from a list of 3-5 names, which is what I thought your post said the first time I read it, then I realized you meant letting your brother pick the boy name.

Maybe? We are actually in a similar position...no agreeable boy names and frankly letting someone else pick the name sounds like a good idea at this point! I would need to see it before it was official butwe might get to this point also

Absolutely never. Then again, I don't like anyone enough to give them that kind of power.

We were the same... Had a bunch of names for girls and none for boys. We finally came up with a boy name we both loved at like 38 weeks, right before #2 came!! I never thought we would agree on and love a boy name, but we did. We ended up blending two names together and it was unique and special to us, but not too "out there". 2.0 turned out to be another girl though! Haha, but at least we have a boy name for if that time ever comes.
Anyway, don't worry... You'll have time to figure it out.

Nope. I felt a weird sense of responsibility giving lo her name, a name she'd have to live with for the rest of her life. Or at least until she turns 18 and can change it. Its scary enough for me to have that responsibility.... I wouldn't want to give it to someone else.
