I have so many pregnant/mom friends who post personal questions and info on facebook statuses, and I wonder if they just don't have anywhere else to put it. (why do you want your male friends, cousins, random people from college, etc. to see that?) I can't see myself ever writing about breast-related stuff, or asking for mom advice on FB because responses are often uneducated and/or close-minded, whereas I feel like advice and info here on Hellobee is generally helpful and well-researched! I wonder if HB attracts a certain type of follower and maybe I just don't know many such people IRL (=facebook friends)...most of my best friends don't have kids and a lot are still single so I love that I can come here for education and sisterhood! If there were no HB to post on, do you think you'd overshare more on facebook?

I never post that kind of stuff on FB and never would. If I didn't have HB I guess I'd be fifty times more confused about things.

I do put things on FB. However, I have a very limited friend base. I only friend people I see often IRL. (except for 2 members of this site)

I am part of a mommy group on facebook, started by people I know in real life. All of my baby stuff goes to them and on here.

I didn't join HB until I was 8.5 months pregnant so I Googled a lot! I didn't feel comfortable asking my friends with kids a lot of questions because I didn't want to waste their time or look dumb.

I didn't join until LO was 4 months. I still didn't ask on facebook.... I just don't feel like facebook is the place for that stuff.

I've posted questions about her sleep on facebook but that's about it. I hate it when people write statuses about their babies and nappies, toilet training etc... My sisters do it all the time, lol.

nah, none of my friends really post personal info on facebook either. i'm in a private facebook group (so, info doesn't go onto the news feed) with other moms around my due date. we ask a lot there too!

Nah, I find it kind of awkward when I read about poop/pee/boobs on facebook lol. I'd probably google a lot and lose my mind
