Feel free to tell me I am overreacting, hormonal, or full o'crap. I might need to hear it.
My husband has plans to attend the Patriots Day Red Sox game in Boston at Fenway Park. This is the same day as the Boston Marathon. Which of course in 2013 was attacked.
I am sure I'm hormonal and nervous, but I am terrified of my husband going to Fenway on this day, being in Boston, in a large crowd. This morning, a news bulletin came on about how they are testing the area for bombs and radiation levels. Maybe this should make me feel more at ease (tons of testing and security!) but all I can picture is him getting caught in some kind of attack while I'm sitting here pregnant.
I cannot very well "forbid" him from going. He knows I am terrified and says that people can't live their lives in fear and that he is in more danger driving to work each day. Statistically true, but not resonating with my worries.
If you were in my shoes: What would you do?
