I definitely would when Charlie and Olive are maybe 3 and 5. My parents would love to babysit while Mr. Bee and I go to Hawaii. But I'd have no problems leaving even now. 
But I'm also excited to travel together when they are old enough to appreciate and remember the experiences.
What about you? When (if ever) would you travel without your kids?

Yep! In a heartbeat. Maybe that's presumptious, but DH and I have already agreed that we will do kid-free vacations every once in a while. Thank goodness for grandparents!!

Definitely! The hubs and I will definitely vacation with AND without our (future) children. I used to stay at my grandparents for a week during the summers, and my kids will do the same!

We took a 3 day vacation last week- snowboarding and we went to a wedding. My LO stayed with my parents and they had a blast! We missed her like crazy but it was good to get away and have some quality time with each other. Thank goodness for breastpumps and frozen milk...

yes, yes, and YESSSSS.... I too can't wait for family vacations where we can make memories. But I intend on taking at least one 2-4 day vacation alone with Wagon Sr. each year.

I'm the odd man out. I would hate to leave lo, even for a weekend. Id just sit there being upset because id miss her too much, and I want her to be a part of the special things we do.

We plan on doing kid-free and kids vacations. The top place is going to be Disney with the kids.

I actually couldn't imagine leaving LO, I also don't know that I have anyone I would want to leave him with for an extended period of time. My MIL actually left her kids when they were only 6 months old to go on an out of country vacation for a week. That was actually the first time I ever found out people do that!

Y-E-S!! Once I'm done breastfeeding, DH and I plan to take a second honeymoon because we never had a real honeymoon. We had hoped to before having our first child, but it didn't happen.
So between baby #1 and baby #2 we plan to get away and will have either my mom or my sister watch my son. I plan to breastfeed between 1-2 years so after that, we will try to go!
but I am with you, I am excited to be done having kids and have them old enough so that we can take a road trip or travel together and really enjoy it!
We are going to NY for a week this summer, and our little babe will be 4 mos old. My husband's family lives there. It's the closest to a vacation we'll get for now

We're planning on a 10 year anniversary cruise so, yeah...down the line. Our LO will be 8 by then and will happily stay with Grandma and Grandpa, I'm sure. My parents have already said they will enroll her in summer golf camp while she's visiting (and she's not even here yet!!!).

As of right now, we do plan to do so. My parents went on vacations alone together when we were kids, and I think it's healthy for everyone.

I think I would but I think they would be more weekend getaways.
Maybe longer trips once in a few years because that's a lot to ask grandparents to watch. And financially I don't think we could do more than one big trip a year and I would rather those be family vacations.

Yes! We already have our first post-baby, grownups only trip sort of sketched out. I’m sure we will miss her like crazy, but I think it’s important to spend time alone as just husband and wife, and make sure we are still focusing on each other as partners and not just as parents.

I actually have to travel later in the summer for one of my GF's bachelorette party. It's a 3-4 day trip, but the anxiety is definitely on. But I do think I can do it. I passed on one last year when LO was 6 months. She will be around 1.5 year old when I go on this trip, so I think it might make it better. But it's hard to go when you know they change so fast and every day is a missed opportunity to see their evolution.
