This was after a friend of a friend found out I was expecting #2 and my girls would be 2 years and 3 months apart. This was followed up by "do you just like being pregnant??".

gotta love people.
Also -- what is wrong with having 2 kids 2 years apart? IMO that is an ideal timing...(and quite "normal" for most people who want more than 1 child...) weirdos.

erm, what? That seems like a pretty reasonable gap to me. People are weird.

I am assuming this person either has no kids and/or is a male? They don't just pop out lol. I have heard those as well and also "boy you sure don't want to work huh?"

@Lindsay05: Sadly enough, this was a female, and she has one child.
@psw27: That was my response to her! Most parents space their kids about 2 years apart.

some people need filters!
my kids are 2 years 2 months apart and i ALWAYS get asked if it was intentional. i don't think a 2 year age gap is that unreasonable!!

That's annoying. There are several people in my life that believe that anything below a five year age gap is pure insanity. We are most definitely not waiting that long, so I'm sure I'll get these comments.
Can I just say that I *hate* the phrase, "pop one out" ? They're children, not pimples. Whenever someone asks me when I'm "popping another one out" (wtf, DD is not even four months), I visibly cringe.

Sure! Cause pregnancy is so, so much fun, ya know! (She (me) says in a perky voice in the middle of vomiting episodes)
You'd think you were working on your 6th kid from the sound of that conversation, not your second.
I like @DillonLion: 's response

Ugh, seriously. Some people are so rude! My husband posted a photo of me on FB this weekend and one of the comments was "you're pregnant again?!" Ummm, this is my second and last and the kids will be three years apart.

I thought 2 year gap was very common! DD and #2 will be exactly 2 years apart.

ugh, some people. I've been bracing myself for these comments (mine will only be 17 months apart) but haven't heard any yet! *knocks on nearest wooden surface*
