Do you let your infant have a wubbanub in the crib? Part of me says it's ok because it's a paci and part of me says no go because it's a lovey. It stays in her mouth so much better than regular pacis!!

@coacheswife123: my LO didn't love hers until about ten weeks when she started to figure out how to use her hands. Don't lose hope : )

My LO never took a paci despite my best efforts, but I have friends that would wrap their Wubbanub in the swaddle. Keeps it in their mouth but out of their face.

LO currently has 3 in her crib. She is 10 months and hasn't really used a pacifier since about 4 months, but likes to chew on them now sometimes.
I think I started using them in the crib with her around 3 or 4 months, when she was rolling over anyways.

we tried so hard with the wub and he'd rather chew on the legs than take the paci
That said, as soon as LO was rolling over I put his lovey in his crib with him. You know your baby the best so if you're uncomfortable with it don't rush it.

We always keep wubbanubs in my LO's crib. We prefer them to paci's because once we sleep trained, it was easier for her to find it and put it in her mouth. They're so light, I never really worried about suffocation.

She's 3 months and can roll belly back but not back to belly.
@Weagle: sadly I'm trying to swaddle wean because daycare can't use swaddles by law!! Boo.

We always let our LO sleep with hers since she was a newborn, I think it's light enough that if somehow it covered her mouth and nose she could just turn her head and it would slide off, unlike a blanket or a large stuffed animal.
My mom has a baby boutique and donates wubanubs to the hospital since they use them with the preemies, so I assume they are pretty safe.
