DH's 2002 Subaru needs at least $2,000 in repairs. It has over 160k miles on it. We just spent $1,800 in repairs on it earlier this year to fix another issue. I am afraid that if we fix this problem something else is going to need to be fixed in a few months. When do you stop throwing money into an older car?
We just purchased a new car earlier this year so we already have one car payment. We can easily afford another one, but are hesitant about taking out another car loan.
Would you fix the car or buy a new/used car?
